Major League Baseball’s ‘Midsummer Classic’ is set to be heated this year with some of the brightest stars in today’s game. Indeed, the 2022 AL vs NL battle includes some show stoppers such as Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts, New York Yankees heavy hitter Aaron Judge and the Atlanta Braves’ Ronald Acuna Jr. to name a few. Where the dugout is concerned, it’s going to be a rematch of last fall’s World Series with Brian Snitker of the reigning champs Atlanta Braves managing the NL squad, while Dusty Baker, who saw his Houston Astros lost to the Braves, will direct the American League team.

When and where is the MLB All-Star Game?

Scheduled for Tuesday, Tuesday July 19th, the MLB All-Star Game comes just four days after the official start of MLB All-Star Week which gets off and running on Friday, July 15th. The game itself is of course just one of the events in a series of events that are being held across the host city. As for what city that is, the 2022 MLB All-Star Game is set to be played at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Interestingly it will be the first time that the famous game is being held at MLB’s third oldest stadium since 1980.
