Here’s how Team Israel’s roster will look for the 2023 World Baseball Classic held from March 8 to March 21.

Update:
Here’s how Team Israel’s roster will look for the 2023 World Baseball Classic held from March 8 to March 21.

Team Israel brings power and experience to the table with a club that has all the gaps plugged. Hitting coach Kevin Youkilis should be able to squeeze the best out of a hard-hitting Joc Pederson and Spencer Horowitz, while Brad Ausmus brings class and knowledge to the dugout.

Team Israel was the Cinderella story in the last WBC and they have made a serious upgrade to their personnel since then. With a strong bullpen and a good mix of southpaw pitchers, they should be able to give account of themselves, even if they are in the grindingly tough Pool D. Venezuela and Dominican Republic are expected to top this group, but pulling off an upset is not beyond the reach of this Israeli side by any means.
