The biggest stars in the world of baseball will be on show at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park for the 2026 MLB All-Star Game.
The likes of Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge will be strutting their stuff, but they won’t be the only big names in town for the event. The musical performances are also a major part of the annual spectacle and the full list of artists has now been announced.
The headline name for this year’s line-up is Jennifer Hudson, the EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony) winner, who will perform “America the Beautiful.”
Boyz II Men will perform at the end of the fifth inning during MLB’s Stand Up to Cancer moment.
Actor Miles Teller will narrate a tribute to baseball’s impact on American life before the national anthem is performed.
Who will sing the U.S. national anthem?
American actress and singer Patti LaBelle will sing the U.S. national anthem at the 2026 MLB All-Star game. Referred to as the “Godmother of Soul,” Labelle has been performing since the 1960s. Some of her biggest singles are: “If only you knew,” “New attitude,” and “Stir it up.” The singer won a Grammy award in 1992 for Best Femal R&B Vocal Performance for her album ‘Burnin’ and another on ein 1999 for the live album ‘Live! One Night Only.’
LaBelle has also worked as an actress in films such as ‘A Soldier’s Story’ and on TV in ‘A Different World.’
