According to manager Aaron Boone, Aaron Judge, the star player for the New York Yankees, has experienced a significant breakthrough in his recovery from a toe sprain. The 6-foot-7 slugger suffered the injury earlier this month when he collided with the bullpen wall while making an impressive catch against the Dodgers. However, there is positive news for the Yankees as Judge has progressed after receiving a second Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injection for his toe last week.

Although Judge hasn’t resumed baseball activities yet, he has been able to do more on his toe as the swelling has decreased. Boone expressed his optimism, stating that he is encouraged by the developments and discussions with Judge. The manager hopes this marks the beginning of real progress for Judge’s recovery.

The Yankees have struggled offensively in Judge’s absence, losing eight out of the 12 games he has missed. Unfortunately, there is still no definitive timeline for Judge’s return, which means the team may continue to face challenges without their star player in the lineup.
