The rosters for all teams participating in the World Baseball Classic in March have been confirmed. The United States will send its best lineup, including Aaron Judge, Cal Raleigh, and Kyle Schwarber, the top American hitters this season.

They will also have their best arms in Tarik Skubal, Paul Skenes and Logan Webb. Other pitchers who will be there include Michael Wacha, Clayton Kershaw, Matthew Boyd, David Bednar, among others.

Japan

Japan is going to take a big gamble with the roster, but the leader will undoubtedly be Shohei Ohtani, who will also be accompanied by Munetaka Murakami and by pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, MVP of the World Series.

Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic is another team that could be a favorite with a roster that includes the highest-paid player in history, Juan Soto of the New York Mets, as well as Fernando Tatis Jr., Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Manny Machado, and Jeremy Peña.

The pitchers include Sandy Alcántara, Camilo Doval, Brayan Bello, Seranthony Domínguez, Wandy Peralta, and Luis Severino.

Venezuela

One of the biggest questions was whether Venezuela would have all their top players for the World Baseball Classic. With Altuve out and the entire political situation still a concern, the Venezuelan team was an enigma.

However, they will have Luis Arraez, who in 2015 had the highest contact rate in MLB at 94.7%. His OPS was 106th among the 145 qualified players. They will also have Eugenio Suárez, and pitchers like Eduardo Rodríguez and José Alvarado.

Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico will go into the tournament without one of its biggest stars, one of the reasons they threatened not to go to the World Baseball Classic at all. Despite this, they will have Nolan Arenado and veteran Eddie Rosario.

Mexico

Mexico caused a great surprise by reaching the semifinals of the World Baseball Classic in 2023, when they were eliminated after falling to Japan.

Despite this, they have great players like Randy Arozarena, the team’s star three years ago, as well as Alejandro Kirk, one of the Blue Jays’ stars in the last World Series.
