Update:

The Los Angeles Dodgers took control of the 2025 MLB Tokyo Series against the Chicago Cubs in the first two games of the regular season. The MLB Opening Weekend was an exciting one and these are the teams with an undefeated record that will surely motivate their fans.

It’s important to start with the champions of the best baseball league on the planet, as Dave Roberts’ team defeated the Detroit Tigers in their first three games at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers are 5 - 0 and will take on the Atlanta Braves in the three-game series starting Monday.

They go into the series with 30+ runs scored, 20+ walks, 10+ home runs, 55+ strikeouts, and zero errors, a statistic no team had ever achieved after five games.

The San Diego Padres are in a different situation, as the Petco Park organization swept the series 0-4 against the Atlanta Braves, proving they will once again challenge the Dodgers in the NL West. Some of their most important hitters at the start of the season are Jake Cronenworth, Gavin Sheets, Fernando Tatis Jr., and Xander Bogaerts.

Meanwhile, in the American League, the only team that remains undefeated is the New York Yankees, and it was all thanks to the Bronx Bombers’ offensive explosion in their series against the Milwaukee Brewers at Yankee Stadium. Led by Aaron Judge, Cody Bellinger, and Jazz Chisholm Jr., the Yankees swept the homestand to take a 3-0 victory over the Brewers. They will now host the Arizona Diamondbacks starting Tuesday (April 1).

Undefeated St. Louis Cardinals and Miami Marlins surprise

Finally, regarding undefeated teams, the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Minnesota Twins in their first three games of the regular season and thrilled everyone at Busch Stadium. The offense, led by Nolan Arenado, Lars Nootbaar, and Iván Alonso Herrera, started 2025 in the best possible way and will now host the Los Angeles Angels.
