Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager named World Series MVP for second time, joining exclusive club and etching his name in the history books.
The Texas Rangers were crowned champions of the 2023 World Series, winning in 5 games (4-1) over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Rangers shortstop Corey Seager was named the MVP of the World Series, after hitting three home runs and six RBIs, playing a key role in their historic victory over the D-Backs.
Seager becomes just the fourth player in Major League Baseball history to win multiple MVP awards in the Fall Classic, alongside Hall of Fame members Reggie Jackson , Sandy Koufax and Bob Gibson.
Only Jackson and Seager have managed it playing for more than one team and only Seager has won the award in both leagues.
