The Los Angeles Dodgers’ Tyler Glasnow is sounding the alarm. The California franchise revealed that he had been placed on the injured list due to tendinitis in his right elbow.

The Dodgers called up pitcher Justin Wrobleski, who showed he is still in top form by striking out three batters in five innings of work against the St. Louis Cardinals and allowing four runs on four hits.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said the club expects Glasnow, who pushed to make his scheduled start, to return after serving the minimum of 15 days on the injured list, according to The Athletic’s Fabian Ardaya.

Glasnow has pitched 134 innings this season, making 22 starts. In 2023, he surpassed his career-high set with his former team, the Tampa Bay Rays, with 21 innings of work.

He has had an outstanding season with the Dodgers, posting a 3.49 ERA and a 0.95 WHIP, striking out 168 batters.
