Houston Astros offer contracts to seven players for the 2024 MLB season
Teams across Major League Baseball know full well that they must keep the important cogs in their respective wheels for the new campaign.
The MLB offseason unfolds with significant developments among various franchises, as rumors persist and the names of players available for free agency continue to surface. But not only that, teams are aware that they must retain their key players who have enabled them to compete at the forefront and secure their spot in the playoffs.
Astros extending contracts
Through their social media account, the Houston Astros unveiled the names of the seven players to whom they extended contracts (tendered contracts) for the 2024 season, who were eligible for arbitration. The list comprises:

Infield/Outfield | Mauricio Dubón
Left-Handed Pitcher | Luis García
Outfield | Chas McCormick
Outfield | Kyle Tucker
Left-Handed Pitcher | José Urquidy
Left-Handed Pitcher | Framber Valdez
