MLB.TV has moved to the streaming service giant and with it comes some interesting features for fans to explore and enjoy!

How much does MLB.TV cost and what does it provide?

As Amazon Prime members in the U.S. will be well aware, they can now subscribe to MLB.TV for $24.99/month, or if they prefer they can make a one-time payment of $118.99 for a Season Pass, after a 7-day free trial. With the membership, fans will be provided with streaming access to live and on-demand regular season out-of-market games. In addition to the games, baseball lovers who use Fire TV devices can also now enjoy Prime Video’s new X-Ray feature. X-Raywill allow viewers to access live in-game stats, team and player details and even play-by-play information while they watch games.

On the whole this is an interesting move for MLB.TV given that it has been running for 17 years. In that time there have been a wide variety of other live sports and sports streaming services that have been featured, such as NBA League Pass and PGA TOUR LIVE both of which are available through Channels in the U.S. Then of course there is the Eurosport Player which is is available in the U.K. and Germany and of course there are UFC pay-per-view events which are also available to Amazon’s customers.

Where else can you watch MLB games?

If you don’t have Amazon and you’d like to stream the games, there are definitely a few other trustworthy sites where you can get access to all the MLB action. Firstly, you’ve got DirecTV Stream, which is probably one of the best places to watch MLB without cable. After that you can always count on Apple TV, Peacock Sling, FuboTV and of course Hulu + Live TV. Lastly there is always good old YouTube TV.
