José Altuve hits historic home run for Astros putting him among the MLB elite

Altuve steps up for Astros
Venezuelan player José Altuve continues to maintain his elite status in MLB, as he fired a home run that brings him closer to the all-time home run record in postseason history.
With this blast, “AstroBoy” becomes the second player in MLB history to hit 25 postseason home runs, joining Manny Ramírez, who reached 29 homers. Altuve’s home run left his bat at a speed of 104.4 mph and traveled a distance of 413 feet.

Add to this that Altuve has now hit 10 home runs in the LCS, tying with Kyle Schwarber and Albert Pujols for the second-most all-time, behind only Ramirez.

And with this home run, he broke a tie with his teammate Alex Bregman for postseason RBIs and now stands at eighth place with 51 runs batted in.
