Activity in the Liga ARCO Mexican Pacific League (LMP) has resumed, and in recent days, rumours have gained momentum regarding the potential arrival of pitcher Julio Urías, who had a stint with the Los Angeles Dodgers in the last season.

For Urías “always an option, always possibilities”

Reports suggest that the Tomateros de Culiacán may have an interest in him, but he is currently undergoing a legal process due to alleged domestic violence against his partner. In response to this, Carlos Manrique, the President of the LMP (Liga Mexicana del Pacífico), was questioned about the situation involving the Mexican pitcher.

“We, as a league, condemn any form of violence, whether it be gender-based or domestic. He needs to conclude this legal process in the United States and determine its outcome. We must wait and see what the player decides,” Manrique stated in an interview with the Multimedios television network.

However, he made it clear that the possibility of a future arrival is not ruled out, saying, “There is always an option, there are always possibilities.”
