Miami Marlins player graces the cover of MLB The Show 2023
Jazz Chisholm is the first Miami Marlins player to grace the global cover of MLB The Show 23, available on PlayStation, Nintendo, and Xbox
Infielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. shone during the first half of the 2022 Major League Baseball season with the Miami Marlins and in 2023 he will light up the game even more.
The Bahamian was chosen as the face of the cover of the MLB The Show 2023 video game. Chisholm is the first Marlins player to earn such an honor on the global cover. Wei-Yin Chen was the special cover for the 2016 and 2017 issues sold in Taiwan.
Chisholm Jr. earned his first MLB All-Star Game nomination in 2022. Although he was limited to 60 games because of a back injury, he finished the season hitting .254/.325/.535 after having 54 hits and driving in 45 runs on 213 at bats.
When will MLB The Show 2023 be on sale?
MLB The Show 2023 will be available on March 28, two days before Opening Day of the next Major League Baseball season. It will be playable on PlayStation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The game was exclusive to Sony consoles from the 2006 edition to the 2020 edition. Since 2021 it has been shared with Microsoft's and Nintendo's since 2022.
