Miguel Rojas responds to Drake after he mocked Shohei Ohtani: “You don’t have to do that, man”
After Drake's words, which did not go down well in the Dodgers' locker room, Miguel Rojas has learned a hard lesson.

The locker room of the back-to-back MLB champions, the Los Angeles Dodgers, wasn’t about to let the shade slide. After the Game 5 win over the Toronto Blue Jays, rapper Drake—watching from the stands—took to social media to throw playful jabs at superstar Shohei Ohtani. One post showed Ohtani striking out, captioned: “Savage already otw to the dugout boss lol.” Another featured a photo shoot of Ohtani with the caption: “ONE MORE!!!!!!!”
But the joke didn’t land the way Drake might’ve hoped.

Miguel Rojas fires back
Venezuelan infielder Miguel Rojas, who emerged as the hero in Game 7, didn’t mince words. “We all know who that guy is,” Rojas said, referring to Drake. “But you don’t need to do that, man. Shohei Ohtani has done everything he can for the game of baseball. That’s why Kiké Hernández had his moment out there.”
Rojas continued, echoing the sentiment inside the Dodgers clubhouse: “That doesn’t go unnoticed - when you do something like that, when you disrespect a little bit the best player in the game, not understanding the quality of the person and what the guy has done for baseball. It’s really hard to jump into conclusions. You just don’t do that, man.”

Miguel Rojas tells TMZ Sports the locker room definitely took notice of the rapper taking shots at their superstar teammate -- and they didn't like it one bit. https://t.co/vvsZw4WLxd pic.twitter.com/uVGVwtULeH

Dodgers respond with dominance
Rather than backing down, the Dodgers turned up the heat in the final two games of the series, storming to victory and celebrating their championship in style. Kiké Hernández even threw a subtle jab back at Drake during the victory parade, saying: “This massive team with a whole bunch of massive rings.”
Lesson learned: don’t poke the bear
What started as a joke turned into a rallying cry. In the collision of music, social media, and baseball stardom, the Dodgers proved that words matter, timing is everything—and you should never underestimate a team with something to prove.
