The height of emotions is being felt in the 2024 MLB playoffs as the Yankees, Guardians, Tigers, Dodgers, and Mets remain alive.
The Divisional Series continue with do-or-die games in the MLB postseason, both in the American League and the National League. The Championship Series will take place from October 13 to 22, while the World Series will be contested from October 25 to November 2, should it extend to seven games.
The 12 teams that made it to the playoffs are: the New York Yankees, Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Guardians, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, and Houston Astros in the American League; and in the National League: the Philadelphia Phillies, Milwaukee Brewers, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, New York Mets, and Atlanta Braves.
