Crismatt reaches a minor league agreement with the Rangers
The Texas Rangers have signed the player to a minor league contract, and he is destined for the affiliate Round Rock Express. However, he could be called up to the main roster eventually.
Crismatt has over 5 seasons of experience in Major League Baseball, having played for the St. Louis Cardinals, San Diego Padres, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Los Angeles Dodgers. The 29-year-old made his relief debut with the Dodgers and pitched two scoreless innings.
The native of Barranquilla maintained a 2.57 ERA in 7 innings of appearances in 2024 and held a 1-1 record with 6 strikes and a WHIP of 1.000. His departure comes after the Dodgers called up Venezuelan Elieser Hernández to the MLB roster.
