Held every year, the pan-Caribbean championship of champions rotates among hosting nations and in 2028, the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (Liga de Béisbol Profesional de la República Dominicana or LIDOM) holds the hosting rights. Currently, they are in negotiations with the Marlins and the city of Miami to bring the event back to South Florida.

More than three decades have passed since that event was last played in Florida and doing it now, in an MLB stadium, demonstrates the great interest we have in carrying out this show.”
