Although 14 teams have come back from being down 0-2 in the past, only two have done so in the last 26 years: the 2020 Dodgers in the NLCS against the Braves and the 2004 Red Sox against the Yankees in the ALCS (coming back from being down 3-0).

This will be Pfaadt’s third postseason appearance, having already impressed by shutting out the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 3 of the division series, where Arizona completed a sweep.
