Cole Tucker has returned to the Los Angeles Angels after a spell with Triple-A side Salt Lake Bees. The 27-year-old made his return in a 6-5 victory against the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday.

He was 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base, batting seventh for the Angels. Tucker started as a designated hitter (DH) on Monday and impressed on his first game back in MLB.

After making his MLB debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2019, Tucker spent four years at PNC Park before being picked up by the Arizona Diamondbacks. He spent a brief spell with the Colorado Rockies before signing a minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners in January 2024.

After failing to secure a spot on the Mariners roster during spring training he moved on to the Angels, and has now made the step up to the major leagues. The Angels made room for Tucker by designating Aaron Hicks for assignment.

What is Cole Tucker’s salary with the Angels?

When Tucker signed for the Angels he put pen to paper on a one-year $740,000 contract. That figure includes a base salary of $608,634, according to sports salary database spotrac.

That deal was a modest increase on the $720,000 salary he had been earning at the Colorado Rockies. LifeandStyleMag estimate that his net worth is between $3 million and $4 million.

Aside from his career as a professional athlete, Tucker is also known for his relationship with actress, singer and former Disney Channel star Vanessa Hudgens. The couple married last year and are awaiting their first child.

After a career in the entertainment industry Hudgens has amassed an impressive personal wealth, mostly owing from acting work and royalties from the hugely successful High School Musical franchise. She is thought to have a personal wealth of around $18 million.
