Kershaw ended his contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers this winter after 16 seasons in Chavez Ravine and is currently a free agent. Another real option for Kershaw is to put his history in Los Angeles aside and start over in his home state of Texas. According to The Athletic, the Rangers are insisting that the future Major League Baseball Hall of Famer finish his career in Texas.

Although the Rangers will be the defending champions when the 2024 season begins, the Dodgers are the great candidates to win the World Series due to the signings they have made in this free agency. The hiring of Shohei Ohtani and Yhosinobu Yamamoto could influence Kershaw’s return to close a cycle by lifting a new trophy.
