The Boston Celtics and the Golden State Warriors clash in a pivotal Game 2 matchup on Sunday night in the 2022 NBA Finals. The two teams went all the way in at Chase Center in Game 1, but the Celtics rallied and ended up stealing the 120-108 victory. The Warriors, who headed into the fourth quarter up 12, will need to show some aggressive energy if they want to avoid dropping to 0-2 in the series.

So who do we at AS.com think will win the series?

Breakdown of Celtics vs Warriors Game 2 Finals

Things were looking good for the Dubs in Game 1 as they entered the fourth quarter leading with double digits. Shortly after though, their defense made it easy for the Celtics to regain their confidence and rally with a 40-point fourth-quarter performance.

This is the version of the Celtics we think we’re getting tonight.

Tatum vs Curry

Boston is showing no surrender with a combo of Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, Marcus Smart, and Al Horford all turning tables on the Warriors. This is a team that weathered an early explosion from Stephen Curry to come away with that Game 1 victory in San Fran.

Even with Curry involved, considering he could even shoot for six other 3s in a quarter, Jayson Tatum could also go for another 3-for-17; the Celtics have not only proven that they can shoot the deep ball, but they also switch defensively and close gaps on the end of the field. Tonight, they have a chance to finish with the over in the second game of the series.

The NBA Finals Game 2 kicks off on June 5th with tip off set for 8 p.m. ET from the Chase Center. How and where to watch here.
