2023 NBA All-Star Game schedule of events: dunk and 3-point contest, Rising Stars, game time
The 2023 NBA All-Star weekend begins on Friday, Feb. 17, and there will be many events for basketball fans to enjoy before the big game is held on Sunday.
The best players of the NBA will be in full force at the 2023 NBA All-Star weekend as they take a break from the regular season, with different events that basketball fans will enjoy taking place in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Stars are coming out
The weekend activities will begin on Friday with the All-Star celebrity game, which will feature music star Nicky Jam, baseball legend Albert Pujols, NFL Hall of Famer Calvin Johnson, and Grammy award-winning rapper 21 Savage, among other stars.
After that, the young guns of the NBA will show off their talents at the Jordan Rising Stars game, where the best rookies and sophomores of the league will be joined by players of the G League in a three-game tournament.
All-Star competitions
The next evening, NBA players will show off their special abilities in the skills challenge, the 3-point contest, and the slam dunk competition.

On Sunday, captains LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers and Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks will choose their team roster in the All-Star Draft, right after which the main event will take place.
Team LeBron and Team Giannis will battle it out in the 72nd NBA All-Star Game which tips off at 8:30 p.m. ET / 5.30 p.m. PT.
