Zaccharie Risacher is one of the standout names in the Draft this year and is certainly going to be in the top 5 picks of the selection process.

The young Frenchman, who most recently played for JL Bourg in the French league, is a hugely promising small forward and someone who will be on everyone’s lips come Wednesday night when the Draft finally gets going.

Here’s a closer look at Risacher...

What is Zaccharie Risacher’s height, weight and wingspan?

Born in April 2005 in Málaga, Spain, Risacher measures 203cm (6-foot-9) in shoes and weighs 193lbs. His 6-foot-9 and three-quarter inches wingspan is a huge asset for a defensive player.

NBA Draft Room labelled Risacher a “good cutter and a solid finisher in the lane” while saying that “he’s really got a good feel for the game. He’s an excellent passer and play-maker who knows how to manipulate a defense.”

In a total of 49 games played this season both domestically and continentally, he has 3.3 rebounds per game, with an average of 1 assist. He sits on 0.8 steals and has 0.4 blocks. His PIR in the Euroleague sits at 9.3 this season.

‘Perfect with the San Antonio Spurs to partner with Victor Wembanyama’

The basketball analysis website peachtreehoops posted an excellent step-by-step breakdown of Risacher’s game, concluding that the Frenchman was a “very good shooter, good in the open-court with potential to translate that into the half-court” while adding that “Risacher would be perfect with the San Antonio Spurs to partner with Victor Wembanyama — his skillset would complement a star player very nicely, rather than him being the star player.”

As for more player analysis, ESPN’s Givony sais that “Risacher found other ways to contribute when he hit a midyear shooting slump and put together several strong playoff performances to finish the season. He has made a convincing case to hear his name called early in this draft, as every NBA team is looking for players in his mold.”

Risacher is both an LNB Élite champion (2022) and a Leaders Cup winner in 2024; Risacher was named as the LNB Élite Best Young Player as well as winning the EuroCup Rising Star (2024) award. He was also part of both the LNB All-Star (2023) and the Nike Hoop Summit (2023).

The draft takes place on Wednesday, June 26, first round and Thursday, June 27, second round. The first round begins at 8 p.m. E.T. / 5 p.m. P.T. followed by the second round at the same time.
