The 2024 WNBA All-Star Weekend is just around the corner, promising an exciting showcase of the league’s top talent. Fans can look forward to a weekend filled with thrilling competitions, skillful displays, and memorable moments.
The festivities kick off on Friday, July 19, with the Skills Challenge and 3-Point Contest starting at 7:00 PM ET The main event, the WNBA All-Star Game, will take place on Saturday, July 20, at 8:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ABC.
The game will be held at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, home of the home of the three-time WNBA champion Phoenix Mercury.

WNBA All-Star game format
The format for the WNBA All-Star Game often changes to keep the event exciting and competitive. The 2024 format will feature:
Team Selection: The two All-Star teams will be captained by the top two vote-getters from fan voting. These captains will select their teammates from the pool of All-Stars, similar to the playground-style draft.
Quarters: The game will consist of four 10-minute quarters.
Charity Component: Each team will play for a chosen charity, adding an element of philanthropy to the competition.

Players and coaches participate in community service projects around San Antonio. - Three-Point Contest and Skills Challenge: 7:00 PM ET

A game featuring the league’s top rookies and second-year players.
July 20, 2024 - Saturday
- All-Star Game: 3:00 PM ET
