Antetokounmpo returns to Greece
From the Los Angeles Lakers to the EuroLeague: Kostas Antetokounmpo’s winding road back to his homeland.

Olympiacos has announced the signing of 27-year-old Greek center Kostas Antetokounmpo on a two-year deal. The 6-foot-10 player spent the second half of last season with UCAM Murcia, appearing in 14 games on loan from Panathinaikos.

Antetokounmpo – the brother of Milwaukee Bucks star and two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo – averaged 4.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1 assist in 12 minutes per game in Spain’s Liga Endesa, posting a valuation of 6.2.
After beginning his professional career with the Dallas Mavericks, he won an NBA title with the Los Angeles Lakers and also played in the G League with the Texas Legends, South Bay Lakers and Windy City Bulls.
In Europe, he has featured in the EuroLeague with ASVEL Villeurbanne, Fenerbahçe and Panathinaikos.
