Two of the best teams in the NBA regular season face each other on Wednesday, Jan. 11 as both seek to reach the top positions in their respective conferences. On one side will be the hosts, the Boston Celtics, who remain leaders in the Eastern Conference with a 29-12 record, and on the other side will be the New Orleans Pelicans, whose current record is 25-16.
The Celtics’ record is also the best in the League, and they will be going after a fourth consecutive victory.

Celtics vs Pelicans preview
The Pelicans will look to end the Celtics’ five-game home winning streak when the teams meet tonight.
This will be the second meeting between the two teams this season. Jaylen Brown scored 27 points and 10 rebounds to help the Celtics earn a 117-109 road win on Nov. 18. Boston had 20 3-pointers in the victory. Brandon Ingram led the Pelicans with 25 points (five 3-pointers), while Zion Williamson missed the match with a bruised foot.
The Celtics have a 16-5 home record, while the Pelicans are 8-11 on the road.
