Does NBA League Pass include the 2025 All-Star Game and contests?

What’s more romantic than a Valentine’s Day weekend full of basketball from the Golden Gate City? The 2025 All-Star Weekend begins on Friday, the 14th of February and runs all the way until the main event on Sunday from Chase Center.

The new look All-Star Game

This year’s All-Star Game is going to have a little bit of a different look, but the structure of the weekend will remain the same. On Friday we will have the Celebrity Game and the Rising Stars Challenge. Saturday will feature the traditional events of the Skills Challenge, the Three Point Contest and the Dunk Contest. Sunday is the main event, the All-Star Game that will have a different look to it after some major tweaks that we have come to know.

After years and years of a sub par product, and the NBA’s attempts to make the All-Star Game as exciting as possible the league has decided to completely change the format. The players who have been voted to the All-Star Game usually play on two teams, sometimes divided up by East and West Conference, and sometimes divided up by drafts by celebrity coaches or All-Stars themselves.

This year the All-Stars were voted on, like always, but the “general manager” of each team selected their team in a draft that was broadcasted live on TNT’s Inside the NBA. Studio pundits Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith drafted their teams last week, and it has taken an interesting shape. Shaq went with the generational super stars that have dominated the NBA for the last decade. Guys like Steph Curry and LeBron James will take on TNT”s Candace Parker’s team, which will be the winning team of the Rising Stars Tournament. Meanwhile Chuck’s team of international Super Stars like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic will play Kenny’s team of young studs led by Anthony Edwards and Jalen Brunson.

The STARS of the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game

The games will be set up in a semifinal structure with the two winning teams meeting in the championship game. In the two semifinals, the first team to reach 40 points will move on, and the championship game will have the same format. The teams will be playing for a $1.8 million prize pool in which players of the winning team will get $125,000 each, second place will get $50,000 and the third and fourth placed team members will get $25,000 each.

While the events from Friday to Sunday will be televised by a mix of ESPN, TNT and TruTV, the All-Star game and other events on NBA TV, the NBA app, ESPN, TNT, TruTV, TBS, NBA League Pass and Fubo.
