The No. 2 seed Memphis trail the series 1-2 as the take on No. 3 seed Golden State at the Chase Centre in Game 4 of their NBA Playoffs series.
Golden State cruised to a 2-1 series lead over Memphis with a win in Saturday’s game, which proved to be the most one side of the series to date as Stephen Curry (30 pts), Jordan Poole (27 pts) and Klay Thompson (21 pts) all ran riot with more than a 50% success shooting rate as they kicked on in a dominant 3rd quarter (37-23).
Ja Morant did his best for Memphis shooting 34 pts but it was his late injury that proved to be the talking point of the night as he limped off the floor in the last five minutes, after Poole “grabbed his right knee with his hand and pulled it out of the air,” coach Taylor Jenkins accused afterwards and everything points to the Grizzlies star missing Game 4 in California.
