The 2025 NBA playoffs are heating up, with four teams still chasing the coveted Larry O’Brien Trophy. In the Western Conference, the Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves are battling for a place in the Finals, while the Eastern Conference crown is being contested by the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers.

Eastern Conference Finals

Indiana Pacers | 2-1 | New York Knicks

Western Conference Finals

Minnesota Timberwolves | 1-3 | Oklahoma City Thunder

With the series sitting at 3-1 in favor of Oklahoma City, the Timberwolves find themselves on the brink of elimination. Meanwhile, the Knicks trail the Pacers 1-2 and are looking to even the series.

Only 13 teams in the entire history of the NBA have come back from a 1-3 deficit in a playoff series. If Minnesota can turn the tide, they would become the 14th – a feat that would mark one of the postseason’s great comebacks.
