How much do courtside tickets cost for a Warriors playoff game?

Want to rub shoulders with the rich and famous? Then NBA courtside seats are as good a place as any to do it, and perhaps there are none better than those at a Warriors game.

When it comes to status symbols, there are few that rank higher than the courtside seats at an NBA game. From movie stars to artists, to comedians and even politicians, the best seats in the house at NBA games are often occupied by the who is who of the day. When it comes to those at Chase Center in San Francisco, California, there are possibly none better.

The Golden State Warriors are special

Originally founded in Philadelphia back in 1946, the Warriors are one of the older teams in the NBA today. Following their relocation to the Bay area in 1971, they began to play at the Chase Center which is located at 1 Warriors Way in San Francisco. Today the 18,064 capacity arena is home to one of the NBA’s best teams over the last decade and the current defending champions. With stars like Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green the Warriors have won four titles in the last eight seasons, making them one of the best teams of the modern era.

Today, the Warriors are 2nd-most valuable franchise in the league behind the New York Knicks and the 6th highest valued sports team on the planet. That’s to say getting your hands on tickets can often be a tough task and even more so if you want to get close to the action. Of course it also depends on what time of year it is i.e., the regular season or playoffs. Indeed, such factors can make the difference between paying a few hundred dollars and quite literally thousands.

How much are Warriors courtside seats?

To be clear, tickets for any playoff game in the NBA aren’t cheap but as you can imagine those prices can increase significantly depending on who you’re paying to see play. In the case of the Golden State Warriors the cheapest tickets start at around $325 and they will put you in the upper level of the arena according to vividseats.com. If you’d like to get as close as possible to the action, however, in the hopes of maybe sitting next to someone like Dave Chapelle or Star Wars director, George Lucas, both of whom are avid Warriors fans, then you’re going to need to fork out quite a bit more cash. At the time of writing courtside seats for the Warriors’ fourth game against the Sacramento Kings were going for $13,450. That’s to say, it’s going to cost you a pretty penny.
