How serious is Caitlin Clark’s injury? When will she be back?
With two wins and two defeats in their opening games of the 2025 season, the Fever will be without their star player due to injury.

After starting the first 44 games of her WNBA career, Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark will be out of action for the team when they face Washington Mystics on Wednesday. The player has been ruled out of action for at least a fortnight with a quad injury.
The 23-year-old stands to miss four potential games and the Fever will be hoping that she is back for the game against Atlanta on June 10.
Indiana Fever issued a brief statement, confirming the news:
“Caitlin Clark has suffered a left quadriceps strain and will be out for at least two weeks. Further updates will be provided as available following re-evaluation,” the team said in a statement.

Solid start
Clark recorded her third double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 assists in Saturday’s 90-88 loss to the New York Liberty in Indianapolis.
The second-year guard is averaging 19.0 points, 9.3 assists, 6.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals through four starts for the Fever (2-2). Clark is shooting 40.3 percent from the field and 31.4 percent from 3-point range.
