After the Celtics proved to be a team capable of bouncing back from a mediocre performance, they will go into Monday night’s Game 4 in Milwaukee with the same resilience.

Saturday night’s game between the Celtics and Bucks echoed Jayson Tatum’s claim that Boston is the team that plays the hardest in the NBA.

Even though Game 3 with Milwaukee was not the best match offensive-wise for Boston, the Celtics still stayed in it, fighting till the very end to suffer only a two-point loss at the end.

The Bucks really pressured Boston in the third quarter when they extended their lead to double digits, but the Celtics defended at a high level, which is exactly what head coach Ime Udoka asks of his team.

The message Udoka told the Celtics

Udoka relayed a message to his players after the game that shows he trusts the Celtics’ resilience to comeback.

“What I said back to the group: we didn’t play great offensively in the first half at all. We defended at a high level to keep them to 46, but only had 50 ourselves. We weren’t as sharp as we needed to be offensively. But after a poor third quarter on both ends, that we could rally back, the message is to continue to guard the way we have, other than that third quarter, and then get our offense clicking a little bit more.”
