Following Saturday night’s Warriors’ 142-112 victory over Memphis, Giannis Antetokounmpo had a lot to say about the referees, but chose not to.

The six-time All-Star, finishing with 42 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists, wasn’t content with some questionable calls that took place during the match, and made sure to leave a comment that matched his sentiment.

Antetokounmpo not happy with refs but smart with words

“How much does it cost if I say something, a comment about the refs?” said Antetokounmpo. “Is it $20,000? It’s a lot of money. So, I should not do it. I’ll save my money. I’ve got to pay for diapers.

The father of two signed a five-year contract worth $228 million in 2021, which clearly leaves the Greek native untroubled by money. However, he still got his spending priorities straight.

Bucks seeking decisive 3-1 advantage in Milwaukee

Antetokounmpo picked up three fouls in the first half of Saturday’s game, and finished with four, while the Bucks were whistled for eight fouls just in the fourth quarter. The Celtics finished with an 11-0 edge in free throw attempts, missing three.

The Bucks will be going after a 3-1 advantage in Game 4 in Milwaukee before the series goes back to Boston.
