Jalen Brunson raises injury concerns for the New York Knicks
New York awaits word on Jalen Brunson’s injury after the star guard left the court limping during the loss to Orlando.

Jalen Brunson suffered a right ankle sprain during the New York Knicks’ 124–107 loss to the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden, head coach Mike Brown confirmed in his postgame press conference.

The point guard appeared to twist his ankle after drawing a foul while taking a pair of free throws and fell awkwardly. He did not return to the bench, heading straight to the Knicks locker room instead.
Brunson later left the arena on crutches and wearing a walking boot. The team is expected to provide an update on his condition in the coming hours. If the injury proves more serious, Miles McBride would likely step in as his replacement.
Before Wednesday’s setback, Brunson was averaging 27.7 points, 6.6 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game this NBA season.
