Jimmy Butler and the Heat arrive in Boston for Game 7

The NBA Finals are on the line tonight as the Miami Heat arrive in Boston to take on the Celtics for Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Update:

The Miami Heat have arrived in Boston to take on the Celtics in a Game 7 that will see one of them eliminated and the other move on to the NBA Finals. The Heat completely blew a 3-0 lead, allowing the Celtics to comeback and tie the series, which means they’re on the road at TD Garden for Game 7.

Though that may be discouraging, Jimmy Butler, the Heat’s clutch player this post season, is still going into the game with full confidence.

“When we huddle up after the game, after a tough loss like this one, everybody is smiling because we know we’re very capable of it, I’m telling you, and we are not going to let up,” Butler said after their heartbreaking Game 6 loss. “I’m not going to let anybody quit. I’m not going to let our guys quit. I don’t give a damn what happens. We’re going to go [into Boston] and we’re going to win.”

No team has ever come back from 3-0 to win a series. They’ve only ever come back as far as the Celtics have, and there’s a reason for that. Winning four games in a row is hard, even if you have home-court advantage and momentum. So tonight, it’s anyone’s game. The game gets going at 8:30 p.m. ET from TD Garden.
