We now know what games will get the 2023-24 NBA season underway and the opening night action is set to feature four of the best teams in the Western Conference.
According to a report by The Athletic, the opening night games of the upcoming NBA season will see Los Angeles Lakers face Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns against the Golden State Warriors on 24 October.
The season opener will give the Nuggets the opportunity to show off their championship banner at the Ball Arena in front of home fans against the Lakers led by LeBron James. In addition, the rivalry generated by the Nuggets coach, Michael Malone after beating the LA team last season in the playoffs has served to fuel the clashes between the teams from Los Angeles and Denver.
Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are one of the biggest box office generators in the last ten years and the will face a Suns team featuring the ‘Big 3′ of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal in what appears a highly attractive opening night for fans.
