Lakers receive good news from LeBron James
The Los Angeles Lakers star has received positive news ahead of the clash against the Houston Rockets.

LeBron James has been watching the Los Angeles Lakers from the sidelines for much of the action over the past couple of months, with a groin strain keeping his minutes to a minimum in the NBA until fairly recently.
Ever since he has been back in action, LeBron has helped his side virtually secure a playoff spot, going 6-5 over the past 11 matches, and avoiding the play-in for the first time since 2020. With just two games left to go, one more win will get their position secured.
A week ago, James was asked about how he feels, with the injury causing a drop-off in his stats, going from 25.0 points, 8.2 rebounds and 8.5 assists before the groin strain to 22.4 points, 6.5 assists and 6.0 rebounds after returning to action.

LeBron James ‘probable’ against Rockets
“That was the best I felt before the injury for sure,” he said after his side lost to the Warriors on April 3. “I just tried to press, get downhill, my rhythm, as far as my jump shot felt pretty good today, I was shooting from the free throw line extremely well, and I’m a bit late, but it’s probably the best physically I felt. So hopefully, I can build off of that.”
Against the Rockets, who are flying and have already sealed the No. 2 seed in the West, LeBron James has been upgraded to ‘probable‘, meaning that the medical staff feel happy with his progress and barring a late setback, he would be available to feature in the game.
The injury list for the Lakers is quite indicative of their positive form, with just Maxi Kleber (out, right foot surgery recovery) joining LeBron on the injury list for the upcoming game in California.
