Update:

As anticipation builds ahead of NBA 2K26’s release on September 5, the game’s developers have unveiled the much-discussed Top 100 player ratings fuel for fans and fantasy analysts alike.

At the very top, two league titans share the crown. Nikola Jokić and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander both boast a stellar 98 overall rating, the highest in the game. While XX was top in the previous edition of the game, the new ratings show just what a superb season SGA had, resulting in a climb from a 96 overall (5th place in 2K25) to 98 overall (tied 1st) in 2K26.

Just behind them, Giannis Antetokounmpo earns a 97 rating, while Luka Dončić and Anthony Edwards come in at 95 each.

Other familiar names secure their expected spots: Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Jayson Tatum, and Victor Wembanyama all land at 94, with the latter making the leap into the top 10 for the first time.

Meanwhile, Kevin Durant, Donovan Mitchell, Anthony Davis, Jalen Brunson, and Tyrese Haliburton trail close by with 93 ratings. This year’s list reflects the success of the top talent in the NBA over recent seasons.
