The Los Angeles Lakers remain fully in the fight to seal their ticket to the NBA Play-in tournament, although they also still have some hope of getting their direct pass to the playoffs.

LA Lakers pushing for playoffs

After the 134-109 victory against the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center, and with four games remaining to end the regular season, the Lakers are placed in the seventh place in the Western Conference.

In case you’ve forgotten, the Play-in tournament is accessed by the teams that get places 7-10 in the standings, while the first 6 get their direct pass to the playoffs.

LeBron targets triple double history

During the game, LeBron James picked up 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists. This saw him achieve his 107th career triple double, tying with Jason Kidd for fourth of all time in the NBA.

Now the King is hunting down the three in front of him: Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson with 138, Oscar Robertson with 181 and a very distant Russell Westbrook with the milestone of 198 triple doubles.
