LeBron James opens the door to NBA retirement again
LeBron James has participated in the NBA All-Star Games for the twentieth time.
LeBron James spoke to the media before the NBA All-Star Game began and caused a stir by hinting at the possibility of retirement. Speculation about a potential trade to the Golden State Warriors had been circulating for a few days, which only fueled the retirement rumors.
“I have not mapped out how many seasons I have left; I know it’s not that many,” the Lakers player who made his 20th appearance in the All-Star Game made a strong statement.
LeBron James has a player option worth 51.4 million dollars with the Los Angeles Lakers. Recent reports suggest that the Lakers are considering participating in the draft to select Bronny James to convince LeBron to stay with the team.
“But I don’t have the answer to how long it is or which uniform I’ll be in. Hopefully, it is with the Lakers. It’s a great organization with so many greats with it. I don’t know how it’s going to end, but it’s coming. It’s coming for sure,” James continued.
