The Lakers are also reportedly close to signing New Orleans Pelicans player Jaxson Hayes on a two-year contract, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski with the second year set to be an option.

It seems likely that Hayes will be receiving the veteran’s minimum, barring a sign-and-trade with New Orleans.None of the above listed players however will be involved in the upcoming California Classic in Sacramento (July 3 & 5) and NBA 2K24 Summer League in Las Vegas (July 7-17) for the Lakers with assistant coach JD DuBois set to oversee the summer competitions as interim head coach for the Lakers.
