Nzosa played in the majority of the games for Unicaja in the Spanish league, but didn't put up jaw dropping stats in his 11 minutes a game. He finished the year with 2.2 points and 1.1 rebounds.
With the 54th pick in the Draft, the Washington Wizards select Yannick Nzosa from Unicaja Malaga.

Will Spagnolo stay in Europe?
Spagnolo is a Real Madrid product who got his first taste of first flight basketball with Cremona this year. He's a solid points guard, but still has some maturing to do before he is ready for the league. This might be a chance for the T'Wolves to keep him in Europe and let him develop.
With the 50th pick in the Draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves take Matteo Spagnolo from Cremona.
Proud day for the Mobley family who now have both brothers in the league. Isaiah's brother Evan was taken third overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers last year.

Kendall Brown is a freak, and I mean that in the best sense of the word. He has extraterrestrial athletic ability, but he's not just a physical speciman. This guy can play. He does everything you need him to do on the court as this near triple double shows you.

Not about numbers?
As a freshman Minott averaged just 6.6 points and 3.8 rebounds in the 33 games played. I must say some of these youngsters coming out, are coming out for the hell of it. Those are not spectacular numbers but it seems as though they are good enough for the Hornets.

The New Orleans Pelicans select E.J. Liddell out of Ohio State with 41st pick of the draft.
McGowens averaged almost 17 points and 5 rebounds for the Corn Huskers last season. He's a high energy man that, despite his size doesn't mind doing the dirty work and getting rebounds along with the not so occasional jam. He was a 40% shooter last year, but he will have to polish off his offensive game as his reliance on his speed and strength may not be as easy to depend on in the league.
With the 40th pick of the Draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves select Bryce McGowens from Nebraska.

That wraps up the first round of action, but we aren't skipping a beat. Here we go diving in to the second round.

(later traded to Minnesota)
Wesley's speed makes him stand out more than anything else. He uses it to sneak into passing lanes and force turnovers which usually end in spectacular arial displays. Quick update out of Philly
The Sixers traded the No. 23 overall pick David Roddy and veteran forward Danny Green to the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for DeAnthony Melton
With the 24th pick in the Draft, the Milwaukee Bucks select Marjon Beauchamp.
Roddy has a big, thick frame but don't let that fool you. His first step is lightening quick, and he is explosive around the bucket. He's got a few tricks up his sleeve including a sick step back and a spin move in the lane that will leave defenders woozie.
With the 23rd pick, the Philadelphia 76ers select David Roddy from Colorado State.
(Later traded to Memphis)
Kessler was the other part of the Auburn front court that wreaked so much havoc in the regular season. He and Smith formed a fiersome duo for the Tigers, and Kessler averaged 11.4 points and 8.1 rebounds. He is a defensive nuisance and can run the floor better than most bigs.
Could the Grizzlies have their next Stephen Adams?
With the 22nd pick in the Draft, the Memphis Grizzlies select Walker Kessler from Auburn.
(later traded to MIN)
The Nuggets go for a sharp shoot on the outside with Braun. They have the leagues best player for the last two years in the paint in Nikola Jokic, and having Braun on the outside will keep defenses from thinking twice before they double Jokic down low.
With the 21st pick in the draft the Denver Nuggets select Christian Braun from Kansas.
Malaki is a penetrating mastermind who can finish at the rim in the midst of the big bodies. He's a tremendous athlete that lives above the rim, but he can also pull up off the dribble. He shot 50% from the field for the Buckeyes last year and will now get to work with coach Gregg Popovich.
Cargando...
With the 20th pick in the Draft the San Antonio Spurs select Malaki Branham from Ohio State.

(later traded to Memphis)
Terry is a tall, lengthy guard that upped his stock at his Pro-day. Before his workout he was barley in the conversation to go in the top 20, and could have slipped to the second round. But the former Wildcat with a larger than life personality will take his talents to Chicago.
Cargando...
With the 18th pick, the Chicago Bulls select Dalen Terry from Arizona.
Eason has posterizing ability, but he can also shake a defender off the dribble. He shot 52% from the field and averaged 17 points and 6.6 rebounds and has a body that is NBA ready.
With the 17th pick, the Houston Rockets select Tari Eason from LSU.
The second straight Dukie is selected in as many picks and Griffin will fit in well down in the ATL. The Blue Devil forward was a 45% shooter from three point range for a forward, not bad at all. He was overshadowed by Banchero who could go first overall, but he is a fantastic long range trigger man.
With the 16th pick of the Draft the Atlanta Hawks select A.J. Griffin from Duke.
Williams upped his stock in the NCAA Tournament when the Dukies went all the way to the the title game, and he became a big part the Blue Devils success. He averaged 13.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.2 blocks during March Madness.

Agbaji is a typical three and D guy that will be a perfect compliment for Darius Garland and Jarett Allen. Cargando...

OKC's busy night
That was OKC's third player picked up already in the draft. They still have a pick coming up later in the draft.

Dieng a Knick for a NY minute
This just in, Dieng is headed to the Oklahoma Thunder, after a trade was made with the Knicks.

Daniels is a lockdown defender, who was born in Australia. He played for the G-League Ignite last and was one of the best defenders in the league. He is such a good defender his offensive game gets overlooked. He's a slasher that can unsteady a defense with his shooting from downtown and can develop into an important piece for the Pelicans.
With the eighth pick of the NBA Draft, the New Orleans Pelicans select Dyson Daniels.
Sharpe, another Canadian, was the top prospect in his draft class and signed with the Univeristy of Kentucky, but never played a game at UK last year. There is a lot of hype around this youong man and watching his highlights, you understand why.

Ivey immediate broke down in tears as soon as his name was called as he wrapped his arms around his mom who is the coach of the Notre Dame women's team.

THE NBA DRAFT IS UNDERWAY FROM BARCLAYS CENTER IN BROOKLYN, NEW YORK
Who needs what
While some teams have the luxury of coming into the draft with a stacked team, Golden State and Boston for example, others are desperate for an influx of talent. Some teams will take the best player available, while others look to fill gaps in their roster. Here is a look at what every team needs coming into the draft.
Rockets hit a brick Wall
The Houston Rockets were dealt a big blow when John Wall opted to stay in Houston this year. He hasn’t played since before this season, when he played 40 games for Houston. He fell out of favor for Stephen Silas, and sat the bench the whole 2021-22 season while making over $40 million. After agreeing to opt for this season the Rockets are due to pay him $47 million this year. His astronomical contract will make work out a deal with any team that might be interested.

Irving on his way out of Brooklyn?
The Brooklyn Nets don’t have a pick coming into the night, but with the recent news of an impasse in talks between them and Kyrie Irving. If the Nets are looking to deal him, tonight would be one of their best opportunities. There is no question that the front offices in Brooklyn will be busy deep into the night.
