Sixers’ Joel Embiid out indefinitely with eye injury
Sixers’ Joel Embiid suffered an eye injury by Raptors Pascal Siakam during Thursday’s win over Toronto, and will be listed out indefinitely.

On Friday night, Philadelphia’s superstar Joel Embiid suffered a right orbital fracture in the final four minutes of the fourth quarter of Game 5 vs the Toronto Raptors.
Embiid was already playing with a torn ligament in his right thumb, which he will have to do surgery on this offseason. After this fracture and the mild concussion, it looks like the Cameroonian will be forced to the sidelines with no timetable for his return.

Despite the unfortunate news, the 76ers defeated Toronto and Embiid scored 33 points with 10 rebounds.
Philadelphia advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinal matchup to meet with the No. 1-seeded Miami Heat on Monday, and we’ll just have to see what the Sixers do without their two-time MVP candidate.
