The Golden State Warriors take on the Sacramento Kings (Tuesday, April 16, 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT) as the NBA Play-In gets underway. Ahead of the tie, the pressure is once again on legendary point Guard Steph Curry, as you would expect.

The 36-year-old has etched his name into NBA history over the years, but his side need him more than ever now. Can his play-in record play in his favour and get his side across the line against the Kings?

NBA Play-in games:

Western Conference

• 7/8 Game: L.A. Lakers vs. New Orleans, Tuesday, April 16 (7:30 ET)
• 9/10 Game: Golden State vs. Sacramento, Tuesday, April 16 (10 ET)

Eastern Conference

• 7/8 Game: Miami vs. Philadelphia, Wednesday, April 17 (7 ET)
• 9/10 Game: Atlanta vs. Chicago, Wednesday, April 17 (9:30 ET)

How many times has Stephen Curry played in the play-in?

Steph Curry has only played in the Play-In twice in his career, and they both came in 2020-21. He played 44 minutes in total for the Warriors and got 38 points for his side as well as putting up a 48% FGA.

The Warriors lost to the Lakers who took the final stop straight away, putting Curry’s side into a game with the Memphis Grizzlies, who overcame the San Antonio Spurs.

However, in the No. 8 Seed Game, it was Memphis took the final spot from the Warriors, winning 117-112 in overtime, with a certain Ja Morant stealing the spotlight that many believed was destined to be shone on Curry’s head on the night.

On that occasion, Morant outshone Curry as the Warriors Point Guard looked second best against his opponent, with Morant getting 35 points and beating his 3-point record pace like he was playing in his back yard.

Curry will be hoping that he can bring his A-game this time around as the Warriors look to flip not just their opponents upside down, but also Steph Curry’s wobbly Play-In record.
