That surprise Doncic-Henry moment at Lakers game
The Arsenal legend enjoys an unforgettable California trip, meeting stars across soccer and basketball.

After experiencing one of the most surreal moments of his life on Thursday - when Cecilio Waterman paid tribute to him with a now – iconic goal celebration during the CONCACAF Nations League semifinal between the U.S. and Panama – Thierry Henry’s Californian adventure continued.
This time, it was at Crypto.com Arena, where the French soccer legend met Luka Doncic before the 2025 NBA matchup between the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers.
Beyond just a simple introduction, the two exchanged jerseys in a moment that will be remembered for years. Henry gifted Doncic an Arsenal jersey with his name and signature, while the Slovenian superstar returned the favor with his new Lakers kit.

Henry also witnesses LeBron’s return
In addition to chatting with Doncic, Henry was in the arena to see LeBron James return to action after missing seven straight games. However, the Lakers couldn’t capitalize on the occasion, falling to the Bulls 146-115 on Saturday night.
Henry also got to watch on for the like Coby White, Nikola Vucevic, Josh Giddey, and Matas Buzelis, who led the Chicago team to victory at the Crypto.com Arena.

Back to football for Henry
