The one NBA team Jimmy Butler has ruled out for trade
As the NBA trade deadline approaches, Jimmy Butler’s future remains uncertain, with one team notably off his list.

With the NBA trade deadline fast approaching, Jimmy Butler’s future is dominating some of the headlines. The Miami Heat star, currently suspended for conduct detrimental to the team, reports are that he wants out – but he’s being selective about where he goes.
Butler’s preferred destination
At 35, Butler knows he doesn’t have many shots left at a championship, and he has one team in mind: the Phoenix Suns. He’s eager to team up with Devin Booker and Kevin Durant, and Phoenix is reportedly working on a multi-team trade to make it happen.

Butler’s rejection of the Warriors
While the Suns are pushing for a deal, the Golden State Warriors have been ruled out. Butler reportedly informed them he wouldn’t sign a contract extension if traded there, effectively removing them from contention. He also shut down trade talks with the Memphis Grizzlies earlier in the season, showing he’s determined to control his own future.

Miami’s trade challenge
Butler’s selectiveness puts the Heat in a tough spot. With limited options and the February 6 deadline looming, Miami may have to get creative with a multi-team deal. His contract status and recent suspension complicate matters, but his playoff experience ensures there’s still strong interest.
