Curry carries Warriors to Game 2 win
Steph Curry was brilliant in both games, but the Warriors were able to close out Game 2 after building up a big lead in the fourth quarter. That’s something they could not do in the opener.
The Golden State sharp shooter had 35 points in the opening game of the series, and followed that performance up with 29 in the Game 2 win.
The home win for the Warriors was the first time in four games between these two teams that the home team won. Now Golden State will head to Boston hoping to steal at least one at the TD Garden.
It’s not going to be easy for the Warriors, who know the Celtics have been fantastic after losses this post season. They are a perfect 5-0 after losses in this run to the Finals, and a sixth straight win after a loss would put them in the drivers seat to take the title in this best of seven series for all the marbles.
