The night will conclude in Denver as the Nuggets desperately seek a win over the Warriors.

  • Dallas Mavericks at Utah Jazz- 9:00 pm ET, Game 3: series tied 1-1
  • Golden State Warriors at Denver Nuggets - 10:00 pm ET, Game 3: Warriors lead 2-0

Let’s walk you through a quick preview of each of the NBA matchups playing tonight, April 21:

Grizzlies vs Timberwolves

The Grizzlies will try to keep their momentum going in Minnesota as they ride their longest victory margin of the franchise.

Ja Morant is coming off a thrilling 124-96 win over the wolves on Tuesday, collecting 23 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds. Six other Grizzlies players scored double-digits as well: Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane each with 16 points, while Xavier Tillman Sr., Brandon Clarke, and Ziaire Williams with 13 and Tyus Jones with 10.

Minnesota’s Karl-Anthony Towns finished the game with 15 points and D’Angelo Russell with 11, each below their regular season averages. Thursday’s Game 3 clash will see the Timberwolves attempt a win over the second-seeded Grizzlies.

Mavericks vs Jazz

Utah will try to succeed over Dallas after what they did to them on Monday night. The Mavs defeated the Jazz, even with Luka Doncic on the bench, who was out with an injury, to finish the game 110-104 win.

The Mavericks will continue to feed off their momentum now, especially with the exciting update that their superstar Doncic is improving by the day. Doncic, who hurt his left calf 10 days ago, said he will return as soon as his calf gets better, and if he’s “ready and there’s no risk ... I’ll be out there.”

Warriors vs Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets have done their best to get through the regular season as two of their top players went down with long-term injuries.

With Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. absences, the Nuggets have not been able to figure out a way to score more points, to aid center Nikola Jokic.

Denver has suffered losses during the last two matchups with the Warriors, and if they do not win the Golden State on Thursday night, they are risking being swept out of the postseason for the second consecutive season.
