When is Liberty vs Lynx? Times, how to watch on TV, stream online | 2024 WNBA Finals Game 3
The finals of the 2024 WNBA Championship is perfectly poised at 1-1 as Game 3 heads to Minneapolis.
The WNBA Finals are in the balance with the Minnesota Lynx and New York Liberty tied on 1-1 after the double header in the Big Apple as both teams vie for supremacy in Game 3 on Wednesday night with both teams set to remain in Minneapolis for Game 4 with any potential fifth (and final game) earmarked for New York.
The Lynx were forced to dig deep and clawed back an 18-point deficit on their way to securing a 95-93 overtime win in Game 1 as the Liberty bounced back in Game 2 with a comprehensive win 80-66.
Liberty star Breanna Stewart said of her team, “We got our rhythm and momentum back in Game 2. (We were) just kind of picking up things offensively and defensively, bringing them to another level and knowing that it’s not going to get any easier from here.
“This is the Finals. It’s only going to get harder. But (we’re) excited for the atmosphere and no one cheering for us, and everybody cheering against us.”
Bumper crowd expected at Target Centre
Meanwhile, the Lynx feel fully capable of holding off the Liberty and will be boosted by two home court games in front of fans ready to see their first WNBA Finals action since 2017.
“We have a huge crowd coming to the Target Centre,” Lynx player Napheesa Collier said. “We always call them our sixth man here. The energy is going to be amazing.”
