Where Is Lisa Salters? Why she’s absent from ESPN’s coverage of Pacers vs. Thunder Game 2
The famous reporter will miss the action at the Paycom Center as Oklahoma City face Indiana in the second meeting of the NBA Finals.


Expectation is building ahead of Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday in Oklahoma City after the Pacers pulled off a stunner in Game 1.
Indiana opened the series with a 111-110 victory Thursday, when Tyrese Haliburton sunk a last-second shot put the Pacers ahead for the first time in the game.

One person missing tonight at the arena in Oklahoma City will be ESPN/ABC sideline reporter Lisa Salters.
“Lisa is attending to a personal matter. We send her our best,” ESPN said in a statement.

The 59-year-old Salters has been involved with the NBA on ESPN and ABC since 2005, and has been the sideline reporter in the NBA Finals since 2022.
Salters’ partner, Stephanie White, the head coach of the Indiana Fever, also missed Saturday night’s game against the Sky, also citing personal reasons.
With Salters missing on Sunday, Jorge Sedano will deputise in covering the pitch side interviews.
